6. An injury to the head turns a man into a math genius.

Jason Padgett, 44, a furniture store worker, never had any intentions to learn before being knocked unconscious in Tacoma, Washington in 2002. The incident occurred late at night where Padgett was beaten, mugged and left on the sidewalk until the following morning. The next day when he woke up, Padgett started seeing lines around objects. This enabled him to start learning math and physics but also caused him to have obsessive compulsive disorder and depression. Padgett explained that before the incident, he was a ‘woman chaser’ and the incident has turned his life around for the better. The injury enabled his brain to understand complex mathematics and theories. Scientists and doctors still cannot explain how his brain unlocked such a potential after going through a trauma. (Please don’t get any ideas from this)
7. Massive storm eats away an entire beach and returns it hours later.

This unusual but natural phenomenon occurred recently at Porthleven in Cornwall (UK). The entire sand in the beach was completely swept away by a freak tide. Hours after the incident, another high tide returned the entire sand deposit and restored the beach to its original state. When the first tide swept away the rock and sand deposits, scientists estimated that it would take years to re-deposit the nearly million tons of sand. To their amazement, it only took a few hours. This weird phenomenon has had the locals as well as the scientists who tried to study the occurrence, scratching their heads.
8. Hessdalen lights, the mystery lights of Norway.
9. Mysterious red glow over the Pacific ocean.

The bizarre red light was spotted over the Russian peninsula of Kamchatka by JPC van Heijst. He was flying a Boeing 747-8 aircraft from Hong Kong to Alaska when the mysterious lights occurred underneath the plane. The glow originated after a lightning strike was spotted far in the distance. Since there were no thunderstorms on route, it suggests that the lightning strike did not occur due to a storm. The mysterious phenomenon wasn’t explainable by anyone and scientists could only conclude that the red glow originated due to an explosion of a huge volcano just underneath the surface of the ocean.
10. Animals migrating every year like clockwork.

Animal migration is a natural phenomenon where individual living beings travel from one place to another, usually on a seasonal basis. The phenomenon could be due to change in seasons or mating rituals. What scientists don’t understand is the fact that how such complex patterns of movement are hardwired into the brains of species such as birds, fish, insects and mammals.
